The Open Classroom Launch - October 8, 2005

The Open Classroom will be launched October 8, 2005. It is a non-governmental organization based at the African Heritage Village of Essence International School, Kaduna, Nigeria providing basic literacy and educational services to our local community. Our services are free to the community and are funded by grants, membership dues and donations.

We are currently teaching and providing educational services to the Fulani Community at Rugan Fulani, near the Kaduna Airport. We have also taught in other African countries such as Kenya and Niger Republic. Our projects also include developing the Rugan Fulani area by building classrooms, a borehole, a health clinic and restrooms.
